For a larger shopping trip toward Collier Boulevard and US 41, add ALDI at 13080 Tamiami Trail East, Publix at Freedom Square, or The Fresh Market at 12628 Tamiami Trail East. Sprouts is a separate Naples trip: its stores are on Airport Road North and Logan Boulevard North, not beside the community.
That distinction matters when you are moving to South Naples. A store can have a Naples mailing address and still be a poor choice for a forgotten ingredient before dinner. The useful question is which store fits the direction you are already traveling and the kind of shopping you need to do.
This article covers Esplanade by the Islands, the Taylor Morrison community on US 41 (Tamiami Trail East) southeast of the Collier Boulevard junction. It does not cover Esplanade Golf & Country Club in North Naples or Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes, and mixing them up is the fastest way to end up at the wrong Publix.
Taylor Morrison’s own directions place the community roughly 3.5 miles along US 41 from Collier Boulevard, on the south side of the road, just past Fiddler’s Creek. If you are visiting for an appointment, check the builder’s directions page for the current Sales Gallery address before you leave; the model address has moved as the community built out, and an older street address is not necessarily today’s sales office.
For errands, US 41 is the starting point. The Collier Boulevard intersection is a separate destination along that road; you do not begin every trip already on Collier Boulevard. Save the actual store address in your navigation app instead of searching simply for “Publix Naples.”
Read this from your front gate outward. Each stop is farther along US 41 toward Naples; the two Sprouts stores are off this line entirely.

These stores are not all in one plaza. In particular, Hammock Cove is on Thomasson Drive, while Freedom Square and the South Naples Fresh Market have Tamiami Trail East addresses. Separating those locations makes a shopping itinerary much easier to follow.
The Publix location page lists bakery, deli, produce, seafood, meat and cheese and floral departments, a hot bar, a drive-through pharmacy and curbside pickup at 15050 Sandpiper Lane, with store hours of 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and separate pharmacy hours.
For a newcomer, that makes it a sensible store to learn first. Start with a normal shopping list rather than a tour of every grocery brand in Naples: breakfast ingredients, produce, something for dinner, and the household item you forgot to pack. Once you know the layout and entrance, small follow-up runs become less of a project.
It is also a useful starting point for the first evening in a new home. Look for a dinner that needs little equipment, then buy breakfast for the next morning. A closing day or a long travel day is rarely the moment to discover that your favorite recipe requires a saucepan still in a moving box.
ALDI, the Freedom Square Publix and The Fresh Market belong on your list when you head back along US 41 toward the Collier Boulevard area. Their addresses offer several choices without requiring a trip into North Naples.
Freedom Square Publix has bakery, deli, seafood, produce and pharmacy departments, according to its store listing, with hours of 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. It can make sense when you are already combining a grocery shop with errands nearby. You do not need to switch supermarkets simply because a guide describes a particular one as the neighborhood default.
The Fresh Market on Tamiami Trail East offers online ordering, curbside pickup and delivery, and platter and catering ordering through its local store page, open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. For someone planning a lanai dinner or welcoming visiting friends, this is an option to investigate before heading farther north for specialty shopping. Check the actual menu and availability for your date; a platter shown online is not a promise of immediate pickup, and the store notes that curbside and delivery prices run higher than in-store prices.
ALDI on Tamiami Trail East is another store to include in this corridor. Keep a reusable bag in the car and compare your own regular basket across stores if budget is your priority. A universal “cheapest store” label is less useful than knowing what your household buys, which items you will substitute, and whether a second stop is worth the additional trip.
Plan the sequence before leaving. Stores on opposite sides of a major road may look close on a map while requiring different entrances or turns. Let current navigation handle those movements; do not improvise a turn because two street numbers appear similar.
Publix at Shops at Hammock Cove is at 4370 Thomasson Drive, open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is a distinct location from the stores nearer the Collier Boulevard and US 41 shopping area.
Keep it as an option for a day that takes you farther toward Naples. The advantage is combining trips: do your appointment or outing first, then buy refrigerated groceries on the way home. It is another full-service supermarket choice, and it sits close to the Bayshore corridor if your day includes the Botanical Garden.

There are two Sprouts stores in this guide. The Airport Road store is at 5351 Airport Road North, near Pine Ridge Road; Sprouts announced its May 15, 2026 opening, so it belongs in an updated Naples shopping guide rather than a list limited to the older Logan Boulevard location.
The Logan Boulevard store remains a separate option at 2224 Logan Boulevard North. Its location page lists a smoothie bar, sushi, deli catering trays, and pickup and delivery services. Both stores list 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. hours.
For Esplanade by the Islands residents, think of either as a destination to combine with other Naples errands. If you want particular natural-food brands or specialty pantry ingredients, check availability before making the drive. A preference for a specific product can justify a longer trip; a forgotten carton of milk usually does not require one.

On September 30, 2026, Costco’s official coming-soon page did not list a Naples opening date. Local reporting earlier in the year put the goal at fall 2026, with late autumn or early winter possible. Before planning an arrival stock-up around the new warehouse, verify an opening announcement directly with Costco.
